Project Overview

E-LAB delivered acoustic design for the new Sony Music Group headquarters in Sydney, supporting a high-performance workplace alongside specialist sound-critical environments. The project combines commercial office functions with professional music production, requiring precise acoustic control across a diverse range of spaces. The scope included three dedicated recording studios, as well as listening, collaboration, and open-plan work areas. The design balances acoustic privacy, sound quality, and vibration control while integrating seamlessly with architectural and building services constraints.
